ROLE: Junior Marketing Assistant

LOCATION: Maidstone, Kent

SALARY: £22,000THE COMPANY

Based in Maidstone, Kent, this established media and events company operates across a wide range of B2B and professional sectors. With a long-standing history in publishing, digital media, and live events, the business provides tailored marketing, communication, and engagement platforms for industry professionals. Known for their innovative approach and collaborative work environment, the company continues to grow, adapting to the evolving needs of their audiences and clients across the UK. This role is fully office-based Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.

THE JOB

This exciting Junior Marketing Assistant job, is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience promoting industry-leading awards, conferences, and digital events across a wide variety of sectors. You'll work closely with experienced marketers and creative teams to bring campaigns to life – and be part of a business that values innovation and career development.

Your duties will include:

Supporting the marketing of prestigious events to drive audience engagement, entries, and attendance.
Creating and managing online and print campaigns.
Designing marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Producing digital and print assets: emails, brochures, banners, social content, and more.
Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Analysing campaign performance to optimise results.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A degree in Marketing
Some experience in a marketing position
A creative flair and eye for design.
Strong written English and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of email marketing or social media tools.
Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or email marketing platforms.
