Sales Account Manager - Norway
The Norway Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Sales Account Manager with experience selling high-tech offerings and services to join us, covering the Norwegian territory.
In this role, you will work to increase Red Hat's market share and revenue. You'll be responsible for building new relationships and expanding and improving business with existing customers, as well as all aspects of the sale, including pricing negotiations, contract development, and order fulfillment.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will also be responsible for managing internal processes and external partners to improve business and create solutions that serve the best interests of Red Hat in Norway. In this role you will sell innovative solutions to enterprises ready to adopt the open source hybrid cloud approach as they modernize their IT systems and using your extensive experience developing and implementing sales plans.
What you will do:
Successfully sell our solutions and services in an assigned territory, through new and existing accounts
Create tactical sales plans and lead the extended Sales team in carrying them out to maximize revenue and growth
Meet assigned sales quota by acquiring new customer accounts and renewing and growing existing relationships
Call on prospective customers and provide technical and administrative information, demonstrations, and price quotes for our offerings
Accurately forecast and close sales in alignment with company goals
Orchestrate the ecosystem and drive digitalisation within Norway
What you will bring:
5+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success, preferably in the software
Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate comprehensive technological strategies to a range of decision makers within the assigned territory
Record of developing relationships at senior level
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
Also desirable is understanding the Open Source or contributing to Open Source projects
