Scheduling Supervisor - Hudson Valley

Make a lasting impression on patients at NewYork-Presbyterian as a Rehabilitation Supervisor. Assist patients with questions and concerns. Keep families informed. As a member of our administrative team, you will discover what sets us apart - passion for the individuals and families in our care. This position oversees the provision of clerical support and performs task necessary to facilitate and efficient work flow. Responsible for collaborating with the CNM on recruitment, selection and orientation of employees in assigned areas. Provides work direction, assigns and/or schedules work, conducts on-the-job training, answers job related questions. Monitors performance and adherence to attendance policies. Prepares performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions for staff, relative to promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action up to and including termination. Assists in the interpretation, development and implementation of Hospital personnel and departmental policies and procedures

The Scheduling Supervisor will oversee Rehabilitation registrars, with their schedules and workflows related to patient access and to both the outpatient physical therapy and occupational therapy services.
Travel may be required to three different locations within Hudson Valley.
The departmental hours are from 7:00AM to 9:00PM

The shift for this position is Day shift but must be flexible with the hours based on operational needs of the department at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Preferred Criteria:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of hospital procedures, routines, regulations and medical terminology
CPMC experience
EPIC

Required Criteria:

High School Diploma or GED
Supervisory experience
Ability to problem solve
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to demonstrate compassion and strong customer skills.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$65,500-$97,000/Annual
