Overview
As the Head of Delivery and Business Operations for the Chief Technology Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and strategic execution of the CTO and teams. You will lead the initiation and management of a portfolio of change within the Chief Technology Office to transform the way we work and how we report and move towards our strategic goals. These initiatives will improve the way we do technology right across the bank.
What you’ll be doing
- Turn the strategies and required outcomes of the CTO division into strategic plans
- Ensure alignment of architectural strategies and initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the CTO and internal/external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication across the CTO team and with other departments.
- Prepare and review presentations, reports, and correspondence for the CTO
- Lead budget planning and financial management for the Chief Technology Office.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Develop and implement strategies for the effective recruitment, onboarding, development and retention of top talent within the Chief Technology Office.
We need you to have
- Proven experience in a leadership role with a track record of managing teams, processes and projects.
- Strong ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and developing impactful scorecard and performance metrics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to set up and manage programme and project structures and controls.
- Ability to lead effective delivery across a range of projects.
- Broad technology knowledge
- Familiarity with project governance, scorecard based reporting, related tooling and methods.
