Job Title: Homeless Prevention Solutions Office

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct homelessness needs assessments and develop personalized housing plans
- Provide proactive housing advice and explore prevention solutions for those at risk
- Work collaboratively with local authorities, landlords, and support agencies
- Assist individuals in securing sustainable accommodation and preventing eviction
- Issue statutory homelessness decision letters in line with legal requirements
- Manage caseloads effectively and maintain accurate records using IT systems
- Offer holistic support, including referrals for individuals with complex needs
- Participate in duty rotas and respond to urgent housing-related inquiries
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing policies
- Ability to interpret and explain complex legal guidance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in case management and working with vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record-keeping and reporting
