WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide expert advice on communication channels and develop plans for Gas Distribution and Storage client groups.
Develop monthly/yearly report(s) on metrics and analytics, and customize
communications accordingly. Establish key performance indicators, capturing baseline activities and measuring results of the published content.
Plan, develop, write, edit, proofread, and distribute internal communications through various platforms such as GDS ELink pages and employee webcasts.
Share accountability for crisis communication response, including development and execution of crisis communication plans and participation in the 24/7 on-call rotation.
Coordinate logistical arrangements for employee and executive events, manage storytelling content for digital platforms, and maintain vendor relationships to ensure content ownership rights.
Develop and implement internal communication strategies to improve employee engagement and workplace culture. Writing, editing, publishing in different channels, according to our brand.
Build and disseminate content for internal newsletters, emails, and other communication platforms.
Who you are
You possess a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent. 4-5 years’ experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related fields.
Communications certification (eg IABC) an asset.
Ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization.
Passion, energy and enthusiasm.
Experience in events/event management an asset.
Digital skills (SharePoint, TEAMS, and video filming) are beneficial. Publishing or producing digital material such as podcasts would be an asset.
Strong writing and copy-editing skills (including spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.).
Familiarity with internet/intranet processes, including design and content updates
