Interventional Radiology Technologist - Full Time - Days - Weill Cornell

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate specialized Angiography equipment within the lab. You'll have the opportunity to support and assist in minimally invasive procedures resulting in the safe and efficient diagnosis of patient conditions.

Whilethis is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Use your expertise in Interventional Radiology to assist with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases. Expand your knowledge, alongside the most highly respected professionals in the field.

This is a full time day shift position based out of our NYP/Weill Cornell Hospital.

During training, the schedule will be 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. After completion of training, the schedule will be either be 5 days a week 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, 4 days a week 7:30 am - 5:15 pm, or 4 days a week 8:45 am - 6:30 pm depending on the scheduling need. No weekends or holidays.

Preferred Criteria

Prior Interventional Radiology experience in a hospital setting
Advanced radiology certification
Flexible availability

Required Criteria

Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiology
New York State License in Radiologic Technology
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
BCLS required from the American Heart Association
2 years of prior experience
Knowledge of vascular anatomy/terminology and intervention equipment
Knowledge of sterile techniques and barriers

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
