The role:
Our masterplanning approach is environmentally led with a strong focus on innovative green infrastructure planning and design. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills by working closely with our existing team of experienced masterplanners and urban designers and learning directly from the other core environmental disciplines within the company.

Your skills Of course, we’ll need you to have all the right qualifications and experience – excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. But to enjoy your time at EDP, you’ll also need to be personable, passionate, and proactive.
We’re a friendly bunch but we do work hard. You will have strong graphic skills and excellent verbal and visual presentation abilities and be able to communicate this through using a range of media including Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, QGIS, 3D design software and hand drawing. A demonstrable background in residential layout design at a reserved matters planning stage will be an advantage.
Our ideal candidate will be proactive, positive and a confident communicator, and preferably with experience gained in a design practice working on residential led masterplanning projects through to reserved matters stage.
You’ll need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
