Job OverviewThe Event Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning, execution and management of revenue-generating events. This will include pre-event planning, project planning and management, interacting with venues and vendors, onsite event execution (may include travel), and post-event reporting and budget management. This position reports into the Interim Director of Events.

Responsibilities- Develop, manage and execute calendar of events that impact revenue growth and retention across customer & prospect base.
- Own Event marketing budget - Manage and track event budget estimates and forecasts and ensure adherence and partner with Finance on monthly reporting.
- Gain alignment for and execute event objectives, strategy and associated project plan
- Lead management & execution of annual corporate hosted events including iCIMS Annual Sales Kick Off Meeting and customer conferences.
- Effectively own and manage the relationships with event agencies and vendors
- Track performance and analyze event success against lead goals – report regularly on results. Identify new ways to prove ROI and showcase in quarterly business reviews.
- Lead post-event analysis, documenting successes and lessons learned for future reference
- Build relationships and negotiate with event vendors (such as booth vendors) and venues and hotels
- Handle day-to-day administration of events and programs, including order placements, vendor monitoring, travel planning, restaurant reservations, attendee participation, registration counts and RSVP tracking. Host prep meetings & run of show meetings prior to all events.
- Support with management & execution of logistics for trade shows & industry conferences.
- Manage updates, registration tracking and post-event processes associated to virtual event platform, Cvent.
- Support tracking and distribution of CEU credits for applicable events and attendees.
- Manage swag inventory with fulfillment center and proactively make recommendations on new orders/re-orders.
Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years related work experience, with corporate event management
- Requires exceptional organization, time management, creativity, problem solving, decision making and cross-team collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Strong professionalism, ability to handle pressure & make quick decisions while onsite at events
- Comfort level speaking with customers and prospective customers face-to-face
- Flexibility and adaptability to work independently, take ownership of projects and make recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfortability presenting to leadership
- Ability to travel approximately 30%
- Cvent and Salesforce experience required
- Project and budget management experience required
- Microsoft Office proficiency required
- B2B marketing experience required
