About this Opportunity:
As a Senior Partnership Manager, you will play a critical role in driving Orion’s success at third-party tradeshows and company-owned events. This individual will be responsible for sales enablement at events, including field marketing strategies that support sales teams, and selling sponsorship and partnership opportunities for Orion-owned events such as Ascent, Align, RTU, and marketing agreements. This role is ideal for a strategic and results-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in relationship-building, and has a passion for event-driven sales and enablement. The position is structured as a hybrid role, with a base salary and incentive-based compensation tied to sponsorship sales performance. Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Berwyn, PA.

In this role, you'll get to:
- Develop and execute sales enablement strategies at third-party tradeshows, ensuring Orion’s presence drives lead generation and business growth
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and events teams to create compelling pre-, during-, and post-event engagement strategies
- Equip sales teams with the tools, messaging, and content needed to optimize their effectiveness at industry events
- Partner with product marketing to refine value propositions for different event audiences
- Measure and analyze event ROI, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
- Sell sponsorship opportunities for Orion-owned events, including Ascent, Align, RTU, and marketing agreements, meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Build and nurture relationships with potential sponsors, demonstrating the value of partnering with Orion
- Develop sponsorship packages, ensuring they align with client needs and Orion’s event strategy
- Work closely with internal teams to design sponsorship deliverables and ensure fulfillment of contractual commitments
- Maintain a pipeline of potential sponsors and regularly report on sales progress
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements in partnership with Orion’s legal and finance teams
- Collaborate with Orion’s events team to ensure sponsorship activations align with broader event goals
- Provide on-site support at events, ensuring sponsors and sales teams have the necessary resources for success
- Identify opportunities for new partnerships and revenue-generating initiatives at industry events through strong networking and relationship building
We're looking for talent who:
- Has proven ability to sell sponsorships and manage event partnerships in a B2B setting
- Has strong sales enablement and field marketing experience, with the ability to equip sales teams for success at events
- Has excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Work collaboratively across marketing, sales, and event teams
- Has strong project management skills, with attention to detail and execution
- Has data-driven mindset, with the ability to track and report on sponsorship sales and event ROI
- Has excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Has a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Preferably has additional certifications or training in sales enablement, sponsorship sales, or event marketing
- Has a minimum of 5+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, sales enablement, or event marketing
- Ideally has experience working in financial services, fintech, or B2B SaaS
- Has demonstrated success in selling sponsorships, managing partnerships, or leading field marketing efforts
- Has strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Has experience supporting sales teams at tradeshows, conferences, or industry events
- Has proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and event management platforms
- Obtains Orion Industry Certification
- Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization
Salary Range:
$83,490.30 - $137,758.99
The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
