We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and project management, with a passion for delivering high-quality projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all phases of architectural projects, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that designs meet client specifications and comply with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Architect with a strong background in submitting and managing planning permissions. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing innovative, compliant solutions while navigating the intricacies of local planning regulations. They will ensure projects meet client specifications, legal requirements, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning Applications:
Prepare and submit detailed planning applications, ensuring compliance with local planning policies and guidelines.
Liaise with local authorities, planning officers, and other regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals.
Respond to planning queries, conditions, and objections in a professional and timely manner.
Design and Development:
Produce high-quality architectural designs and layouts that meet client briefs and are compliant with planning regulations.
Utilize CAD software and other tools to create accurate plans, elevations, and visualizations.
Conduct feasibility studies and site appraisals to assess project viability.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with clients to understand their vision, needs, and constraints.
Present designs and planning proposals to clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
Provide expert advice on potential planning risks and opportunities.
Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare all necessary documentation, including Design & Access Statements, environmental impact assessments, and technical drawings.
Ensure projects align with health and safety standards, building regulations, and sustainability goals.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
Monitor project timelines to ensure planning milestones are met.
Keep clients updated on progress and any changes to planning requirements.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £43,428.00-£45,345.00 per year
