Trainee IT Support Specialist

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week

Department: IT (Information Technology)

Location: Mobile Role – covering Kent/Sussex and Hampshire

Salary: £29 - 33k competitive depending on experience

Project Partners are recruiting now for a Trainee IT Support Specialist to join a fantastic team and help the company maintain their high standards of service and support to field and office users across Kent/Sussex/Hampshire. The purpose of the role will be to:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Perform regular system updates and backups.
Document and track support requests and resolutions.
Collaborate to improve processes and systems.
Educate and train users on the best practices and new technologies.
Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post
Full Training will be provided

Candidate Experience Required:

Hold a clean UK driving licence (essential)
Proficient in the use of a smartphone
Basic IT skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook an advantage)
Good communication skills
Strong administration skills
