Trainee IT Support Specialist
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week
Department: IT (Information Technology)
Location: Mobile Role – covering Kent/Sussex and Hampshire
Salary: £29 - 33k competitive depending on experience
Project Partners are recruiting now for a Trainee IT Support Specialist to join a fantastic team and help the company maintain their high standards of service and support to field and office users across Kent/Sussex/Hampshire. The purpose of the role will be to:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Perform regular system updates and backups.
- Document and track support requests and resolutions.
- Collaborate to improve processes and systems.
- Educate and train users on the best practices and new technologies.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post
- Full Training will be provided
Candidate Attributes Required:
- Can communicate in a clear, professional and effective manner

Candidate Experience Required:
- Hold a clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Proficient in the use of a smartphone
- Basic IT skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook an advantage)
- Good communication skills
- Strong administration skills
