About The RoleThe Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of client-facing projects across Business Applications (Microsoft Business Central, Sage), Managed IT, and Cybersecurity. Having a commercially focussed mindset, your primary focus will be managing project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered in line with company standards and best practices, supporting continuous improvements within the PMO.
As an experienced project management professional, with a background in delivering service excellence you will contribute to process refinement, best practice adoption, and effective project governance, helping to enhance Xperience’s project delivery capabilities.
Job RequirementsEssential Criteria:- Demonstrable experience in project management within a client-facing professional services environment.
- Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of delivering projects in two or moreof the following areas:
- Business Applications (ERP, Sage)
- IT Infrastructure
- Cybersecurity
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, ConnectWise Manage, Moovila)
- Demonstratable knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Demonstrable Commercial awareness
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets and forecasts
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyse risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrates high levels of integrity and professional standards
Desirable Criteria:- PRINCE2 certification (or equivalent)
- Experience in internal project management and business change initiatives

Job ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll be getting up to on a day-to-day basis:
Project Delivery & Governance- Manage the end-to-end delivery of external client projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and oversee project tasks, ensuring clear delegation and alignment with client expectations.
- Ensure consistent delivery of Business Applications (Microsoft Business Central, Sage), Managed IT, and Cybersecurity projects in line with client requirements.
- Manage project administration, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with PMO standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and proactively manage project risks, escalating where necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery by identifying areas for process optimisation.
Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management
- Provide regular project updates to clients and internal stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns
- Ensure client satisfaction by aligning project deliverables with business objectives.
Project Planning & Resource Management- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and service delivery standards.
- Work with internal teams to allocate resources effectively, optimising productivity across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with consultants, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Financial & Commercial Management- Track project financials, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to improve project profitability and reduce cost overruns.
- Support commercial negotiations where necessary, ensuring changes to scope or budget are well-managed.
Process Improvement & Change Management- Support internal PMO initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality in project delivery.
- Provide input on best practices, project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and tool utilisation.
- Assist in driving internal change initiatives to improve the overall effectiveness of the PMO.
