We are looking for a Specialist, FP&A to join our Liquids Pipelines (LP) Finance team, with a particular focus on Low Carbon Development! In this role, you will primarily be liaising with Business Development, Commercial and other relevant functions to support the financial analysis of LP’s commercial activities and growing business.

What You Will Do:
Responsible for reviewing and maintaining sophisticated financial models and generate analysis for business opportunities including customer contracting/recontacting, organic growth, system expansions, key regulatory initiatives, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.
Build and maintain positive relationships with Business Development, Commercial, Corporate Development, Regulatory, Finance and other relevant functions to ensure that project models and related analysis accurately reflect the nature of proposed investment.
Support management and LP’s long-term strategy and key regulatory initiatives by providing financial acumen, regulatory knowledge and expertise in financial modelling.
Provide recommendation to enhance business opportunities, identify risks and opportunities associated with potential actions, provide input and analysis to support recommendations made by senior members of the team, and increase likelihood of deal success.
Indirectly oversee junior team members to ensure group objectives and deliverables are met, as well as to provide coaching on financial and modelling skills, and review of work performed.
Clearly and independently articulate the financial impacts of opportunities under different market scenarios, to a diverse group of stakeholders with varying levels of financial literacy.
Prepare and provide support for materials to be submitted to senior management (or Board) to support capital allocation decisions.
Support LP’s Financial Planning & Analysis activities, ensure all commercial and business development activities are appropriately reflected in the LP budgets, forecasts, and long-range plan; support ad-hoc requests and special projects as required.
Who You Are:
You will have the following education and experience:
Related University degree and/or a professional designation (CFA, CPA or equivalent) with minimum of 7+ years of directly related prior work experience.
Expertise with financial valuation and modelling.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an attention for detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to offer ideas and adapt to changing processes.
Strong organizational skills; ability to manage several project deadlines concurrently.
Passion for upholding Enbridge's core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, and Inclusion along with our ways of working.
Familiarity with North America regulatory constructs, midstream business models and contracting activities an asset.
