Brandeis University is delighted to announce a career opportunity as a Business Analyst, IT Change Management. The Business Analyst, CMO position, operating within the Change Management Office (CMO), is responsible for business analysis, training, testing, and communication related to projects in support of ITS supported products, in accordance with the needs of departments across campus. This position will coordinate and conduct user training, testing, document communications, and provide user support as applicable with ITS staff members requesting assistance with their projects, and act as liaison between the requesting party and others in ITS to ensure successful completion of projects. The individual will also contribute to system enhancements and product upgrades, performing analysis and eliciting requirements from stakeholders. Expertise in Salesforce, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE), and Linvio is highly important for this type of work. The individual also supports applications built in the Slate CRM, as well as the Workday ERP system in support of various stakeholder groups across campus.
This is a hybrid role and will require working at our Waltham, MA campus.

Job Description:
Training & Readiness (45%)
Develop various types of training for the CRM and ERP suite of products.
Develop written job aids to assist and train users how to use CRM and ERP associated applications.
Develop training videos to demonstrate commonly used functionality for CRM and ERP and its associated applications.
Deliver live training to user groups.
Alert users to product enhancements, changes in functionality, and system issues.
Coordinate system down time and maintenance windows with technical resources and functional teams.
Act as a liaison between the technical team in ITS and functional users.
Review vendor delivered system enhancement and upgrade documentation and determine what training material needs to be modified or created.
CRM Support and Business Analysis (45%)
Know the products of the Workday, Salesforce, and Slate suites and manage processes to update training assets based on product release cycles.
Configure and support Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and Linvio, working in conjunction with the Salesforce System
Admin to apply and test application updates, and troubleshoots questions and issues from users
Maintain and support projects within the shared ITS instance of the Slate CRM, working with various campus partners.
Analyze existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data.
Develop and maintain documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
Partner with business, internal and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions.
Elicit business requirements from functional area staff and from stakeholders across campus in need of reports and
dashboards. Develop, test, and refine reports and dashboards to meet user needs.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project’s scope.
Manage client expectation and scope changes effectively.
Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
Participate in additional ITS initiatives as assigned.
Communications (10%)
Develop and produce content for a variety of communication channels including print, presentations, digital displays, web,
and video, based on the needs of the project or initiative.
Design consistent and effective messages, marketing materials, policy, and social media campaigns, print brochures,
newsletters, digital signage, publications, and brand standards to represent and promote ITS
Contribute to the design/development of the ITS website. Write new content, establish new features, and develop new interactive elements.
Job Requirements:
BA/BS required in preferably in the field of Communications, Management Information Systems, or Related.
Work Experience: 3-5 yrs. related work experience.
Strong customer service and communication skills required.
Previous experience developing and delivering training required.
Experience in Higher Education with functional knowledge of Institutional Advancement core business processes is preferred.
Experience in Salesforce is strongly preferred
Experience with UX design concepts is highly desirable.
